Darlene is a member of the Yellow Rose Society, sponsors of the TENNESSEE WOMEN'S SUFFRAGE MONUMENT placed in Centennial Park, Aug, 2016.

Monument is in honor of TN being the 36th state to ratify the 19th Amendment for women's voting rights. It was signed into law on August 26, 1920.
